The Sea Wave Resort in Mirissa
The Sea Wave Resort in Mirissa is a comfortable place to stay in Mirissa at a lower cost than many others. It was just recently constructed (January 2013). The beach is only a minute’s walk away despite being on land. It has five wooden cabanas with fans, vaporizers, and mosquito nets. You can view the ocean and the northern end of the bay from the balcony that each cabana has, which also has a table and chairs. In their garden, a restaurant is envisioned.
They rent scooters for 1000 LKR per day, or 800 LKR per day for longer rentals. Additionally, it is possible to arrange round trips and whale watching. The whale watching tour on their own boat costs 6000 LKR.
